Manchester City have moved within two points of league leaders Arsenal after a dominant 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

With one eye on Saturday’s FA Cup Final against Chelsea, Pep Guardiola made six changes to his starting lineup, resting stars like Erling Haaland and Jeremy Doku.

The gamble paid off as Antoine Semenyo opened the scoring in the 32nd minute following a clever blind back-heel from Phil Foden.

Omar Marmoush doubled the lead eight minutes later, and Savinho added a late third to secure the points.

The win is particularly significant as it gives City a superior goal difference over Arsenal (+1 better) with just two matches remaining.

City now face a trip to Bournemouth, while Arsenal prepare to host Burnley on Monday.
