Tarnat Hoping For New Deal

The German international signed from Bayern Munich on a one year deal last July and is hoping his performances over the course of the season have been good enough for manager Kevin Keegan to offer him a new deal at the end of the season.

"I hope to stay at City for another year or even two years as I really like it," he told the clubs official website.

"That is what I want to do but I don't know what the club is thinking. I hope to speak to the gaffer in two weeks time."
