Roy Hodgson took a swipe at Pep Guardiola by insisting the only thing there is for him to learn from the Catalan is how 'to lose'.
In the five matches the pair have faced off in, Guardiola has accrued the most points with three wins and a draw, with the Crystal Palace boss securing one win over the Citizens - a 3-2 success at the Etihad last season.

Both tacticians came face-to-face again on Saturday as the Eagles traveled up to the north west, with the visitors leaving the happier of the two sides with a last-gasp goal securing them a valuable point. On-loan striker Cenk Tosun had put Hodgson's side in front, but a late Sergio Aguero brace looked like stealing a win for City until Fernandinho inadvertently netted a late own goal to send the away fans into delirium.
In the build up to the game, Hodgson was quizzed over what he could learn from his opposition manager, with the 72-year-old taking offence to the line of questioning from journalists given his longevity in the dugout. However, speaking at the game, Hodgson held no punches with his rethought response.
"I'm annoyed with myself from yesterday because I'm always a bit annoyed when you're 72 with 45 years in coaching and you're asked what can you learn from other coaches and managers - not that I disrespect them and not that i don't think they're doing a wonderful job," he proclaimed, via Manchester Evening News.
"Overnight I came up with the perfect answer; I should have said 'to lose'."
The draw poked further holes in City's all-but faded title aspirations, with Guardiola's side now a full 13 points behind league leaders Liverpool - who still have two games in hand. Meanwhile, Palace's draw moved them up to ninth in the Premier League table, eight points clear of relegation and just nine points adrift of the top four.
