The Brazilian striker was forced to sit-out last weekend's match at Fulham and the Uefa Cup tie against Paris St Germain four days earlier.
However, City''s assistant manager Bowen has said that he expects Robinho to return to the squad for the match against Everton at Eastlands on Saturday.
"We are hoping that in the next couple of days he will be back in for full training," Bowen told the official Man City website.
"He was not quite there on Saturday although he travelled down with us but he was in too much pain to take part."
