The postponed Premier League game between Manchester City and West Ham United that fell foul of Storm Ciara over the weekend has been rearranged for Wednesday 19 February.
The wind and rain wreaked havoc up and down the UK over the weekend and the decision was taken to postpone the fixture amid severe weather warnings and danger to home and away fans.

It was previously reported that City and West Ham had both refused to play the game this coming weekend in order to avoid compromising their winter breaks.
The game will now be a midweek fixture and West Ham have confirmed that the club will be providing its supporters with free return coach travel to and from Manchester.

Sheffield United’s game against Bournemouth on the same day went ahead, but all six Women’s Super League fixtures, including a Merseyside derby at Goodison Park where 20,000 were expected, a north London derby and a clash between Manchester United and Chelsea were called off. Rugby fixtures and horse racing meetings were also postponed or abandoned.
Both City and West Ham have had disappointing seasons in 2019/20.
The reigning champions have lost as many games already this campaign as the two previous seasons combined and Liverpool have opened the biggest ever lead in English top flight history.
“The Premier League has been a huge disappointment to be so far from Liverpool and now we have to fight for the second position,” Bernardo Silva said.
The Hammers, meanwhile, are in a precarious position at the other end of the Premier League table, currently sitting in the relegation zone one point adrift of safety and win-less in the league since New Year’s Day.
Alarmingly, the club’s most recent accounts warned of dire consequences in the event of relegation from the Championship, with West Ham’s financial wellbeing dependent on maintaining their Premier League status.
