Video footage has emerged of Manchester City players seemingly dropping the Premier League trophy from a fair height, as Pep Guardiola's squad celebrate winning the trophy for the second year running.
City clinched the trophy with a victory over Brighton last weekend, before an incredible 6-0 victory over Watford in the FA Cup final clinched an unprecedented domestic treble, with City continuing to exert their dominance on English football.
While the players may be meticulously tight and precise on the pitch, however, it seems as if their celebrations may have got a bit clumsy, as footage from Twitter has emerged showing the trophy lying on the floor, having been dropped from what looks like a significant height - with top scorer Sergio Aguero looking on stunned.

It looks like a fair gaffe, but given how formidable they've been all season, we can forgive them - especially on their big day of celebration.
All over the city, fans lined the streets on Monday celebrating their historic triumph, as the players' open top bus paraded Manchester.

They might have three major trophies in the bag, but the perm still matters, it seems.

At the end of it all, the sponsors announced some end-of-season awards. No points at all for guessing who won goal of the season.
It had to be! @vincentkompany against Leicester is the @NISSAN Goal of the Season!

Player of the season was something of a surprise, however. Many expected Raheem Sterling to take it home, but it went to Bernardo Silva.

Maybe it would have panned out differently for Raheem if he had managed to successfully steal Gabriel Jesus' goal in the FA Cup final, and seal his hattrick. Hard lines, but the England forward graciously conceded that it was the Brazilian's to celebrate, and he'll just have to settle for the three winners' medals and a PFA Young Player of the Year award.
