"We can both play better than that," he said. ""We were gifted the first but to lose a goal so soon after half-time was disappointing.

"We didn't want half-time to come. We were comfortable and they weren't looking like hurting us.

"But what Arsenal are good at is keeping the ball when they are ahead.

"I hope that one day we can learn to do that, even against a side as good as Arsenal.

"They were not at their best so it was an opportunity missed and that is what is so disappointing.

"Even when Arsenal don't play at 100% they are capable of winning and that is a sign of a good side.

"But the goals we conceded were poor defensively.

"If they had opened us up with a couple of one-twos or we had been undone by a bit of Henry magic then you say 'great goal' but when we look back it will not be with pride, we will be thinking we could have done better."
