Harry Kane is set to take his five-day PCR coronavirus test on Thursday and could join the rest of the Tottenham squad for training on Friday if he returns a negative result.
The England captain has been training in isolation since returning from his holiday in the Bahamas and the United States, both of which are amber-listed destinations.

As part of the government's test-to-release scheme, Kane will be free to link up with his club teammates if he tests negative, as per the Evening Standard.
If he were to join training, he would have just two sessions to get up to speed before Spurs take on Manchester City on Sunday in their Premier League opener. Manager Nuno Espirito Santo has previously said Kane would be available to face the side he wants to join this summer.
Kane failed to return to club training on time resulting in anger from Tottenham, although he later claimed he arrived on schedule in a statement posted on social media.
Regardless of Kane's training status, Santo may elect to omit him from his squad if he isn't in the right frame of mind to play. That would likely mean Son Heung-min starts up front with wingers such as Lucas Moura or Steven Bergwijn playing out wide.
Elsewhere, Hugo Lloris is expected to start in goal with new signing Pierluigi Gollini on the bench, while Cristian Romero picked up a knock during Argentina's Copa America triumph, so Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez should start.
There are also availability doubts over Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso, so Oliver Skipp will likely partner Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in central midfield with Dele Alli playing in behind Son.
Tottenham have had a decent pre-season, drawing with Chelsea and beating Arsenal, but the saga over their star striker has overwhelmingly overshadowed their preparations. City believe they can sign Kane this summer, though Spurs remain adamant he will not be leaving.
