Man City team news
Ferran Torres remains the only injury absence for Pep Guardiola's side. The Spanish forward is expected to be out of action until some time in January, having broken his foot on international duty.
Pep Guardiola must again decide whether to play John Stones or Aymeric Laporte in central defence, while there could be a start for Raheem Sterling due to rotation.
Brighton vs Man City predicted lineups

Brighton vs Man City head-to-head record
Brighton came from behind to 3-2 at the Amex Stadium when the clubs met at the end of last season. City had already wrapped up the Premier League title and it ended a run of eight consecutive wins for Guardiola's team against the Seagulls since 2017.
Until Brighton were promoted to the Premier League four years ago, these clubs hadn't only played once since the 1980s, back when both were in the second tier of English football.
During these four years, City have usually won comfortably in head to head contests, notably recording 5-0, 4-0 and 4-1 victories. But Brighton got much closer with a narrow 1-0 defeat in January, before going even further and winning in May.
Brighton vs Man City score prediction
Brighton's fine start to the season, which saw them take 12 points from a possible 15 in the opening five games, has somewhat petered out. They haven't lost since August but they have drawn three in a row and couldn't beat a poor Norwich side last time out.
City should have too much quality. They are coming back off a 5-1 Champions League win over Club Brugge in midweek and were able to substitute several key starters to rest after only an hour.
Prediction: Brighton 0-2 Man City
