Bad News For The Mackems - Aguero Set For Wembley!

Last updated : 26 February 2014 By Footy Mad - Editor

The Argentine striker has been sidelined for a month since injuring his hamstring during the Premier League victory at Tottenham.

Despite returning to light training last week, Aguero was only given the green light to resume full training this morning.

But with City facing a crucial Champions League second-leg against Barcelona in the Nou Camp in two weeks, manager Manuel Pellegrini could hold him back.

It would be a risk starting him against Sunderland at Wembley on Sunday, but Aguero is expected to be involved against the Wearsiders.
